Salam All, It has been two months since I last updated this blog. I have been busy with office work and at the same time baking cupcakes for customers after work. During this Ramadhan my partner and I are busy with selling our handmade chocolates. Alhamdulillah since we started with the handmade chocolate the response from customers was very good and we will continue selling the chocolates after Raya.

Lastly I would like to wish all my friends, blogger friends and customers Selamat Hari Raya & Maaf Zahir Batin.

Sugarpaste Two Tier Cake

My first two tier Sugarpaste cake! Alhamdulillah, after waiting for 2 months I got to meet my teacher, Wiz again for this class. It was a very good, fun and most of all I met two new wonderful friends, Yani and Lina. Thank you so much Wiz..... malam tadi kak Izan mimpi Roast Chicken...yummy...

My sister, aunt and her son went to Sydney last week for a holiday and they stayed at my youngest sister's house. They brought back for me a leather purse, muffin pan and a box containing a cupcakes recipe book, silicon tray and some nozzles.


This book which was bought in Singapore was given to me by a wonderful lady whom I have known for 16 years. I am going to try one recipe this weekend!

Thank you very much Ateh, Kak Norai, Aza & Ita for these wonderful gifts. I really appreciate them and thanks again to you guys for your support in my baking passion.

Hantaran Bertunang

Salam All, I made these fondant cuppies for my cousin's wife, Kak Yati. Its actually for her niece in Pekan, Pahang. Kak Yati ni sebenarnya pandai memasak dan buat small catering di jabatan2 kerajaan di Putra Jaya. I love her talam kacang hijau and laksam! Yummie... Thanks Kak Yati!

Salam All. School holiday starts and so does the kenduri kahwin season. I made 2 sets of these cupcakes with sugarpaste flowers for Hafiz and Elis's BIL. Thank you & Selamat Pengantin Baru!

Chocolate Cupcakes

Mardhiyah Dato' Kamaruddin ordered 100 chocolate cupcakes for her students. Some of the cupcakes were covered with chocolate garnache & fondant flowers and the rest were covered with buttercream. Thank you for your support and I hope your students like them.

Salam all. Recently I sent my son to Chelos Bakery for mini pizza class. It was a wonderful experience for him as his father and I realised that he was smiling all day after the class and keep offering us to eat his products....He enjoyed the pizza class session and now I only need to prepare the base of the pizza (Ummi dia yang rajin ni beli ready made frozen base dari Vanilla Pastri je!) and he would do the rest. But of course I am the one who bake it in the oven....

Chocolate Moist Cakes

The chocolate moist cakes layered with melted Cadbury and dark chocolate and covered with chocolate garnache were for Marini's son at the Tahfiz School. I only decorated it an hour before she came in the morning as I was not well the previous night. Thank you so much for your second order.

Book Fair at PWTC

Last Saturday we had a good time at the Book Fair at PWTC. My son was really enjoying himself as there were lots of both academic and story books. And for myself, I managed to get a few of baking books with very cheap prices!

Alang's Birthday

I used the Steamed Buttercream method to cover the cake and the cake is a chocolate cake layered with chocolate garnache. The edible image with Alang's photo and Upin Ipin background was ordered from my teacher, Loveliana Cakes. Happy Birthday Alang and all the best in your studies! Majlis Aqiqah

It has been weeks I didn't update my blog because I couldnot post pictures into the blog. Don't know why! Anyway these 100 chocolate moist cuppies with chocolate garnache and decorated with buttercream and sugarpaste were done for Sumaiyah. Congratulations for having a new family member, your first nephew and glad that your family and guests love the cuppies. Thank you for the order and support.... and when you have met your Mr "Hang Tuah" I will bake a special wedding cake for you....he he he!

Fondant CC Class With Wiz

Belated Posting: Just to share, last week (22 March '09) I attended a fondant cc decoration class with Wiz at Sugarflours. I only made the decision to join the class 2 days before the class and Alhamdulillah it was really worth attending. I thank Allah for meeting me with Wiz and Sugarflours' Pn Watie & Chef Liza who were very informative and shared their knowledge and experiences with the students. I look forward to attending more of their classes when the budget and time permits :)

CC Fondant For Wedding "Hantaran"

These cupcakes are for my colleague Hariri. Being amateur, I bought the wrong size box because I measured according to the size of the solo cups not putting in mind that the cover of the cc would take space.... I didnt realise about it until I have finished with the decoration which left me only 2 hours to look for a new box at the nearby shop. If u see I use a round base in this pic but later I was lucky that I found one square base just before I went off to Ampang to deliver to him.

Anyway I was glad to see his happy face when he received the box. Wishing you "Selamat Pengantin Baru dan Semoga Berbahagia & Berkekalan hingga ke Akhir Hayat" Amin!
